2016 Jayflight 27 BHS on the CAT scales

Finally got our 2016 27BHS to the CAT scales. All of the weights are within the posted maximums for our 2007 F150, but I am close on the GAWR on the rear axle. According to the numbers I have 400 lbs. of available payload left, but only 170 lbs. spare on the drive axle.... Interesting... I guess any more weight will have to go on the front bumper on the truck ?!!?

Steer axle 3600 rated 2940 actual
Drive axle 3850 rated 3680 actual
Trailer axle 8200 rated 6020 actual
Trailer tongue weight 760 actual

Is that loaded for travel, all your gear and passengers included? If so, you are doing pretty good weight wise. Do you have your unloaded F150 weights to ensure that your WDH is properly set up? You might be able to push a couple more lbs forward if you are able to put a little more tension on your bars.

We had the truck and trailer loaded for a typical weekend trip. All of the holding tanks were empty when the truck and trailer were weighed as we always go to campgrounds with full hookups. The truck has a 1648 lb. payload per the yellow door sticker, with a 7800 lb. tow rating.

Sport,

Did you weigh the 3 times to be able to figure your actual tw, or just using the door jamb sticker?

If only the one time, when you can weigh again, but get all 3 weights as explained in my signature CAT Scale how to link.

Looks like your ok. Just watch what is loaded in the truck bed and front of the 27.
