2017 Jayflight 28RLS

We ordered a new 2016 28RLS with the Elite Package. After ordering it we found out that the trailer will be a 2017 for the 2016 price. Great. Then we found that the 2017 Elite Package does not include the roof ladder, remote for slide out or the skylight in the bathroom. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

They make changes all the time but I would sure find out if you could get those as an option especially the roof ladder maybe the remote for slide but I wouldn't worry about the skylight as they are usually more trouble than use

We negotiated everything based on 2016 and had verbally come to an agreement on price with our dealer. When he went to place the order he found out it would be 2017..... he honored our agreement and we are still getting the remote, ladder, and skylight and he had to absorb the cost. Hopefully your dealer will do the same!

And the 2017 is:
Elite Package
Black Tank Flush, Second Fresh Water Tank (2 Tanks w/Total 80 Gallon Capacity), Upgrade Faucet with Pull-out Sprayer, Sink Covers (2), Porcelain Foot Flush Toilet, Stainless Kitchen Appliances (Micro, Oven, Fridge Front), Hardwood Frame Mission Style Cabinet Doors, AM/FM/CD/DVD Player w/MP3 Hookup & Bluetooth/HDMI, Solar Prep, Dual USB & 12V Charging Port, Simmons Mattress w/Bedspread & Pillows, Large Entry Door Grab Handle

We looked at a 2017 but preferred the options on the 2016 we bought.
I don't see on either elite package where it mentions the remote so that might be separate. Now that I read it again, it says nothing about the skylight in the bathroom either.

Wonder why they dropped the Mor/Ryde suspension? Were there issues with it, and is it still an option?

Good question. It's listed as standard equipment on some of the 2017 5th wheel and the Eagle models.
