24FBS No longer available

I have confirmation from a friend of mine who works at the Jayco factory the Jay Flight 24FBS is no longer being manufactured. They have replaced it with the 24RBS. Essentially the same floor plan but, the dinette is now a U-Dinette in the slide, the rear storage now houses a slide out sink and stove and they have reduced the size of the kitchen sink counter. Also the cabinets above the sink have been shrunk down in size substantially. The linoleum flooring is the same pattern as in the Whitehawk. Also some other small changes.

Wow, we picked out a 24FBS for exactly the opposite of those changes.

We were going to order a 24FBS next spring. As soon as we heard the 24 FBS was being "discontinued", we found one and bought it. We love the layout of this trailer! I think the storage over dinette is also gone among the changes. The bigger bed on the 24RBS is nice...but I'll take the 24FBS layout. We took 2 trips before we had to put it away for the winter, and we absolutely loved it!

Ya know, sometimes you wonder why they make those decisions. It's a great floor plan with more than we need. My guess is that thaey didn't sell enough of the 24FBS so it was changed to the 24RBS just to shake up the market a little.
Happy RVing,
Jeff

It may be a great floor plan but sales drives what they offer.
