Raystown Lake in Pennsylvania. Beautiful park on the water. Going with a big group of friends for the entire week. Waterfront sites, a small waterpark at the campground too. Fireworks the night of the 4th, lots of playgrounds for the kids, ZERO cell phone or wi-fi for the adults... Just about perfect!

I rarely camp on Memorial Day & Labor Day weekends and the entire week that Fourth of July falls in. Too much of a hassle.

We stay at the seasonal for all the major holidays, to many nuts on the road to bother pulling the TT anywhere.

Northern Higland/American Legion State Forest. This will be the first time out on a July 4th week. Hopefully we don't run into to many crazies around.

Interesting to see others who don't camp on Memorial Day labor day or 4th of July. I have never liked caning then either. We have a boat and camper on seasonal lot and the lake is too choppy and there are too many unexperanced drinking boaters out.

I love camping those weekends. Maybe it's just because vacation days are few and far between for me, but a 3 day (or 4 day) weekend is just too much to pass up! Plus, with the kids school schedule, it works out great. I found a campsite 3 days before the Independence Day weekend last year, and I'm hoping to do the same again. Probably too late to find something on the water though. I've heard that up on the cape there are a few places that are no reservation, first come- first serve, but I wouldn't drag the family up there without a backup plan.

Ainsworth State Park, Oregon for one full week. We leave there July 5th and head over to the Washington coast for a week.

Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic at Circuits of the Americas 360 Amphitheater in/near Austin Texas. Staying at RV Nightly Camp Ground...stop by and we'll have a cold one!
