A dogbone is a good investment as if anything is going to be worn and loose it will be the 30. That way you can use the 50 if the 30s cheap.

Another statement by an ill-informed, uneducated dealer!

A pop-up will never be set for 50 amp service. What about the tent camper that still needs the 20 amp service? Campgrounds will never not provide the 30 and 20 amps outlets when the have added the 50 amp service. That would drive off too many of their patrons.

In Michigan, the state park campsites with 50A service cost more per night than 30A sites. Kinda stinks when I have to reserve a 50A site because all the 30's are taken first.
