Hi don't know about the best we use the golf car battery from wall mart. Seems like they were less than 100.00 each. Happy Trails

Oh forgot we did solar last year, check out the 275 watt 60 cell industrial panels. There like $250.00 each.

I have panels like that (260w) they were $250CAD, that's about free in USD!

These are really good batteries, but I have two of the Interstate batteries. They were brand new never used that my neighbour sold to me for $100.00 because he sold his travel trailer before he installed them. They have been working great so far, used them for one season.

We recently installed 200w solar on our Jayco Precept - http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f3...ion-43524.html and installed two 6V Crown golf cart batteries (CR-260, 260AH, $325). So far they are working well - plenty of capacity for several days of dry camping.
