Has anybody bought and installed the A/C auto fan turn off switch from airswitchrv.com ? just wondering how well it works and if you installed it yourself and if was easy. Thank you!

It is on my to-do list.

I am still trying to figure out the thermostat on the ceiling unit so I know what point is 74, 72, 70 and so on.

Maybe, but this turns off your fan when the compressor stops running. Currently the fan just runs all the time. Hard to hear radio or TV.

Mine has a auto and on setting. " Auto" cycles unit, while " on" runs fan all the time.

That would be for the ducted units with thermostat on the wall. The Airswitch is for nonducted units with the thermostat controls on the ceiling unit itself.

I like the idea of not having to run a wire across the ceiling and down the wall to a thermostat to be able to shut down the fan when the compressor is not running.

I actually like uninterrupted white noise. Fan on and off is annoying at night.

Actually airswitchrv has it for the non-ducted type as well. That's what I've got.

It's actually really nice because when it's evening and it cools off it turns off and doesn't run all night. Then it just comes on in the morning when the sun comes up.
