Akuret ST Tires

Does anyone know anything about Akuret ST tires? They are made in China. My local dealer says they are good quality tires for a very reasonable price. He said he has sold them for 8 years and has never had a complaint or had one come back.

Never heard of Akuret tires. I would not go with an off brand ST read the horror stories here on name brand ST's. Two dealers and several tire shops all said go LT, I did and never looked back. One dealer commented he didn't know why they put crap tires on new RV's. You likely have 235x80x16ST and 235x85x16LT fit fine. Should be the same size as your dully I run the same tire truck and trailer.

Can't help you with the tire brand all though i have seen them. But i had a local dealer that we used extensively give me a line like that on two sets of chinese built trailer tires that he claimed never had any kind of problems. I blew the first one near Cody, Wyoming the first time out and the second in Nebraska. We replace all four tires in Nebraska. I made one more trip to that local dealer that we had bought many tires from. It wasn't to give him an order for more tires!!!! That was five years ago. He lost a very good farm account.

Checking comments on other RV forums from folks that have had these tires, I wouldn't trust them.

A good brand, IMO, are Maxxis.
