Think you will love Glacier, was there some year ago. Travel all afternoon and into the night to get there. DW did most of the driving while I rested. Set up camp, (can't remember the name of the campground we stayed at) at night, woke up to glorious surroundings in the morning. If not to cool, be sure to that the "Grinder" tour ride up the Going the the Sun road. We also hiked up to Grenel (sp) glacier. Not sure if glacier is still there but worth the hike. Scenery is spectacular.

We flew in and out of Anchorage 2 summers ago and rented a RV spent 10 days in Alaska. It was amazing. It is what gave us the bug resulting in our new Jayco. Denali was amazing. We were there the beginning of July and the weather was perfect. We even got to see the perfect reflection in the reflection pool. I hope you have an amazing trip

We spent the day resting in Jasper. We rode the Tram. We've ridden lots of trams and I would not recommend this one. Total waste of $$60.00, Even Dollywood better.
Going to head out early AM with goal of at least 600 miles. We have 1800 left approx, so three days. That gives us more time to ATV and fish etc. in Alaska. But if we find something interesting we don't have the first reservation until June 10.
I would recommend the Banff, Jasper route but just for the scenery. Jasper is like Gatlinburg. Big tourist trap beside the Nat Park. Seeing lots elk and bears. High today 67. Sunny nice. Slow cooking a pork roast outside on the grill, home made potato salad and beans. About ready to eat.

35 outside, 49 inside this AM. Yes I finally turned on the heater.
Wife warming her coffee mug on top of the pot.

Folks up the way left stuff out and were up at 3am hollering at the Bears to scare them off. Funny.

We're in Ft Nelson. Traveled 630 miles today. Easy day.
Started to leave this AM at 7 but I was being nice and locked my truck with the door pad instead if FOB so it wouldn't honk and distrub RVers last night.
But I found out this AM I was locked out and my keys were on the dash. No problem I have spare key hidden.
But it only fit the tailgate...WTH..
Had to call tow company, 1 1/2 hours later after a 1 minute unlock ($50) we were in the road. I now have the correct key hidden, it's in the FOB so I removed it.
I did get a large rock in the windshield today. Now have grapefruit size circle on passenger side. Not to bad can actually see thru it with out much notice. Will replace when back home.
Avg 11.3 at about 68 mph today.
Road from Dawson Creek on Alcan the best of all roads we've been on. Really nice. Lots bears and moose and elk today.
The alternate route thru Banff and Jasper National parks is great but bad roads.. Where I got the rock.
About 1200 miles to Fairbanks so going to do it in two days. Truck/RV is dirty..they have RV wash area here so going to wash early AM.

That's the first windshield, you will probably see one more, and a couple tires.
