ANTS! My Fault

We came back from our first trip in our new TT. I forgot to wipe out the fridge. I went over to where we store it and to get something that we forgot. I thought I should prop the fridge door open and that's how I discovered the critters.

Tomorrow my plan is to put a bait trap inside and to spray the access points. Any other suggestions or better ideas are encouraged.

Terro is a non-toxic to humans ant killer that you can safely use. The ants take it home and eventually kill off the colony.

X2 on Terro ant bait traps. We have had great success with them around our house.

x3 on the terro - amazing stuff. you literally see a line of them going up to the bait traps and then next day - none!

Wow, first trip and ants after getting back. Were you all dripping something while unloading the fridge? I've never heard of Terro, but will keep it in mind if we ever have an issue....

Depending on type you can also use Borax as a barrier, or mix it with honey, peanut butter, or powdered sugar. A lot of the Ant baits use boric acid.

Terro uses borax, be sure to get the liquid traps. I tried straight borax but it didn't work, and I didn't want the kids to get into it so terro traps were the next thing to try.

I have used Terro before and can recommend it. I cleaned the fridge, sprayed, and left the Terro. I'll go back in a day or two to check the progress and hopefully clean up the carcasses.

Thanks to all.
