Anyone Flat Towing a Civic?

I have a 2012 Honda Civic (manual transmission) that I'm think about pulling from PA to the Grand Canyon. That quite a few miles for it to be pulled. I know that you need to special equip cars with automatic transmission to do so, but heard that manual transmissions don't need anything.

Should I be concerned about flat towing this far?

Hi Andy.

First of all, check the owners manual. There should be a section on "Recreational towing". if not, check the towing section of the manual. It should list what you can and cannot do on "flat towing". If not, check out this link webpage at the end of the sentence. It list the equipment you need to tow 4 down. Store : Remco

Hope I was able to help.
