I bought the same set that Doug has the link to
Yes the color in the first picture is Blue. I wish I would have noticed the awning extension cable I would have ran my wires along side the other wires

He went out and purchased some clear shipping tape and placed it over the light strip. That was over a year ago and it is still holding up well he said. I am thinking about applying 3M automobile emblem adhesive to the ribbon light adhesive. It comes in different thicknesses and widths, sticks to practically anything that is cleaned well and is pretty durable.

The DW looked them over when I was about page 7 or 8 (1/2 way) in the thread and said "ya, they look ok, I will let you know when you can buy them".
Then I came across the installed photos and videos, showed her and it was "can they be here before our next trip if you order now? Yes? Order them".
So they are on their way. Ordered the 300 light $28.00 set.

Awning Lighting

All I can say about these things is WOW!

My brother came over today and we washed the TT today. We were going to install the led's on the awning but it was a little too windy for our tastes so we left the awning in.

Of course, the wind died down when the sun went in and my brother had already left. I opened the awning and strapped a bungee on day end of the awning tube to keep the lights in place. They're up, but the middle section loops down about two so I'm not even getting the full effect.

These things are bright and the color effects are awesome. I'm kind of partial to the slow color change/fade. I know we are going to get a LOT of questions and comments about these this season!

Absolutely. I like the fade option too. Just wait til you get on the campsite!

LOL!!! So true!! We did have several stop by after installing them at the CG last week. It is a small price to pay.

Awning Lighting

Is there a way to set your own program? I'd like to have them fade red, white and blue for the holidays.

Can you walk me through customizing or send a link for instructions?

I can't figure out how to get that to work with mine.

Yeah, same here! I have not been able to get my custom Burtons to do anything either...

Got the lights in on Monday and installed them on the awning that night. These lights look great and I am looking forward to using them this weekend on the first camping trip of the year. We have a guy in our group who loves to make sure he has lights up and always makes sure everyone else has lights. I can’t wait to unleash the SHOCK and AWE of these lights and see the look on his face. I’ll just sit back and enjoy my drink with that little going.
