BC Weigh Scales

We are going into BC this summer. Seems to be some question as to whether RV's are required to stop at BC weigh scales. In Alberta RV's are exempt. Anyone have experience in BC? We are not overweight but I also don't want to waste time.

RV's are exempt in BC as well. The signs state "Trucks over 5000KG Gross Vehicle Weight must report to scales when they are open. I only take my RV to the scales when they are closed for my own information. The scale guy that my brother talked to when he weighed his unit said he would prefer it if more folks with RV's would scale their units for WDH setup information purposes and to ensure they are not overloading their TV.
