My wife brought up a good point the other day. She read somewhere that the excitement, anticipation and preparation for a trip can outweigh the enjoyment of the trip itself. I have to admit that I'm in that crowd. I look forward to our trips SO much. We always pick up our rig the Sunday before a trip to get it "wet" and loaded up, and that is the most exciting day for me! Then I get to spend the whole week tinkering and working on it!

My wife and I pulled our 2012 197 to Whitehorse last summer. Other than the poor old Suburban breaking an exhaust pipe off at the manifold, we had a great trip. Great weather, good roads, and great people. We are actually toying with the idea of going again this summer.
