Best Experiences!!

I was just thinking as I read the many posts. We are always quick to post bad experiences. Sometimes with good reasons as we are trying to fix something that isn't working right. We all also learn from issues and mistakes and that helps many to avoid the same pitfalls. There are many postive posts as well.

I was wondering how many are out there that have had just great experiences with their TTs. Those who have driven tons of miles and everything worked great or without major issues.

Our first trip to Higgins Lake Michigan last fall was awesome. The trailer pulled great, setup was uneventful and the family had a great time. Lots of fires, smores, hobo pies, hot dogs, hamburgers etc. The weather was perfect with clear skies and crisp nights. Thanks in part to all the great advice on the forum, our trip was fun and relaxinig. Waiting for the 1st trip this year. Coming very soon!

Come, on...lets get ready for the year and hear the best experiences.

Every trip has been a good trip. Some are just better than others.

We have had problems but nothing that ever ruined a trip.

I've gone from Texas to Maine and back with zero problems and aside from some cold, rainy weather up north, it was a very pleasant month on the road. We plan to do it again soon. What I really enjoy is arbitrarily picking a spot to camp and finding some hidden treasure of a place. For example, we stopped at Natural Tunnel SP on the VA/TN border and we loved it. Met some really nice people, saw the sights, etc.

I try to take a few pictures while I'm out. Then I come here and put them up with a brief synopsis of where I went, what site I stayed in, and overall experiences for each trip. I think this gives others on the forum a good idea of what to expect when they go places. It's nice to search a specific destination on the forum and read about another member's experience at that place.

We have had our minor issues, but nothing that would ruin a trip (well said clutch). And it's rained all but one of the 6 or 7 times we've been out in our trailer since October!

I'm very happy with our TT. The layout is ideal for us. Mechanically - it's been near perfect for 3 years. We replaced the High Pressure Propane hose under warranty.

The only design flaw we (still) deal with is the side mount air conditioner.....but it hasn't kicked my a$$ yet

The constant modding I do is therapeutic.

Owned my first TT for 7 years. Left the dealer lot, and never had to go back, or have anything fixed... Did my own routine maintenance and a few fun mods.

Now on to the new fifth wheel and hoping I don't have any issues

I have had a few issues with my Jayco 23j....however most of them have been covered under warranty and I still would purchase another one. They are good campers, I know of others that have a different manufacturer and they have had more problems than I have.

Love our White Hawk

We have had our White Hawk for 2 years and have camped 75 nights with no problems. Happy with the quality of the camper and happy with our dealer--White Horse RV in South Jersey. Will always buy a Jayco and always at White Horse.

First trip in a new trailer is always the best!

. . . On second thought, 2nd trip is the best, because you remembered the things you forgot to bring on the first trip!

. . . No, no, no! Third trip is the best, because you've worked out all the bugs you encountered on the first two!

. . . Oh, hell! As long as you can get away to spend time with family, friends, or just the dog, they're all good!
