Actually it isn't on Non Schwintec slides which is what we were discussing.

Update on my LCI duel rail thru rail slide maintenance program.

This weekend I noticed that my curb slide was about 1/2 inch out in the back and the front was all the way in. Today I looked at it and found the rear bolt had sheared. The only thing keeping it turning was part of the bolt was still stuck in the hole. The square bar was wallowed out from being loose. I pulled it off and made a square cut on the 1 inch bar and redrilled the holes. Checked the other direction and it was tight.
I decided to check the other side and dang it was also the same way but not wallowed out. All replaced now and working. Keep some grade 8, 5/16 x 18 x 1-1/2 inch bolts and nyloc nuts on hand. BTW, the original OE bolts were grade 8. This is a continuing maintenance issue.

I also checked the bolts holding the slide motor/gearbox on and all 4 bolts needed a turn to be tight.

Are you sure going with grade 8’s is the right move? The little voice in the back of my head is saying the grade 5 worked as a sacrificial component saving the motor shaft from damage. Thanks for sharing your solution.

This is the LCI dual thru rail slide.
The grade 8 is what was there OE and a softer grade 5 would break sooner IMO.
I stayed with what was there when new.

Norty, maybe stop by an auto parts store and grab some thread locker by locktite. Get the red stuff, not the blue. Not sure why the nylocks aren't holding but adding some thread lock might solve the issue
