I have the integrated now and on the last three trucks. They work OK. But the after markets work better I think as the gain and power have more adjustment.

Was using Primus on my 1999 EXpidition
Purchased a 2005 F150 crew cab. Came with a Hayes Genesis controller But haven't towed yet so if I don't like I'll be swapping out and put in the Primus

Wish you were able to change your vote. Less than a month after we bought our trailer we got a new tow vehicle. So we are no longer using our Prodigy, but have the Ford integrated brake controller in our 2014 F-150 Screw, which we are very pleased with.

i just picked up my new 26BHS today, the dealer installed a "Quest" controller, made by Husky. not sure if this brand is any good, or what the major differences are between the brands.

Now past the ever elusive 500 vote mark. Tekonsha by a landslide...

Tekonsha P3 here! Great controller. I got a custom mount for it in my Tacoma. I'm happy!

It can come as part of the tow package or ordered separately. If the truck didn’t come with it the integrated controller can be added later.

I have the integrated controller in my ram. It works ok. I think the one I had in my previous truck worked better. I don’t remember what the previous one was. It’s buried somewhere out in the garage.

That custom mount makes it look like it belongs there like an oem model. What was the brand of the mount and where did you get it?

Kelsay-Hayes hydraulic/electric brake control. This is a serious old school controller. I bought my truck in 1989 and it was on it then. It has been used on four different TTs that I have owned and it still works like a champ. The unit is tied into the master cylinder with a " T " to a adjustable electric sensor which sends a signal to the trailer brakes.

Hi @MichaelO

I got mine from MESO CUSTOMS. Small operation, great products for Tacoma and 4Runner. The panel is custom order to your configuration. It's here:

https://mesocustoms.com/collections/...e-switch-panel

Can't recommend him highly enough. He offers other cool toys for 3rd gen Tacoma, most of which I have picked up. Happy hunting!
