Bumper Stickers

I ordered a homemade JOF sticker to put on my TT. I remember a thread awhile ago regarding this but want to see how many people have already done this or identify themselves as a JOF member in some other way while camping.

Homemade? As in self-design? Post a pic! Let's see what you came up with (as long as it doesn't combine a copy-righted Jayco insignia with JOF/Jayco Owners Forum, you can post it here on the JOF)

I did it online. I just wanted something simple that matches my other oval stickers of previous destinations.

That's pretty cool, Kim. Looks similar to a KOA sticker I saw a guy pasting on the window of his F250 while I was in Pennsylvania.

I was thinking of just hitting vistaprint and get a few cheap business cards made up. I've met a few local Jayco campers and I always direct them here, but I've yet to see any register. I don't know if they just don't want to, they forget, or whatever. A few of them do belong to rv.net though.

Great idea! how about a bumper sticker which reflects the jayco owners forum? this way we could recognize each other in campground and connect.Since this forum is growing would it be possible to develop some sort of decal/placard that members could place on their RV to let other FRF members recongize them at CG's, fuel and rest stops etc.

Perhaps the device could be made so it could be easily removeable/reafixed if the member so desired.

Just a thought.
here's a link and example of what could be done:

Boubou, quit trying to show me up!! Lol! I thought about putting my screen name on mine, but thought about privacy. My paranoia kicking in; didn't want people googling it. I'd rather have someone who recognized it to approach me & start a conversation.

Awwww, CruizinKim... I didn't mean to do that, I read your first post quick and replied even before I read the other ones.
if concerned with privacy, no need to add screen name... just a thought.
your original idea rocks
I love it
so I got excited

Boubou - I really like your design, and thanks, CruisinKim, for the idea in the first place. I think this would be a great conversation starter in a CG. Folks might come up to you and ask "what is JOF ?", and it takes off from there. But it would be nice to have a standard basic design, with perhaps a little personalization if desired, so that we would be recognized as part of the same group. Let's do it !!

Forum Decal / Stickers

Thought I'd wake this thread up as it's the only one I could find in a search in regards to stickers. Have a lot of people done this? I'm thinking about having one made with the Jayco bird or something. Here's the one I had from the FR Forum, and one I'm messing with for the Jayco forum. Definitely makes it easier to spot a fellow forum member. Had mine made at makestickers.com. Looks like that's where the one in this thread came from.

Many thanks. Just noticed I made a small mistake on mine with the J.F.O. too.

Bumper Stickers

Just a comment. I ordered and displayed my JOF sticker last year.
Never had anyone ask me about it.

I still like it!

I go on the hunt in every park for stuff like that. If I see a Jayco, as is the case now, then I usually will go ask if they've heard of the forum. A lot don't know about forums in general, and due to the huge amount of info you can learn on one, I pretty much strike up a conversation and advertise a little. I've been on other brand forums for years, and 1 generic, and I've only met 2 or 3 people that were on one and we knew each other, or had at least seen the screen name before.

So, norty1, if I see your rig / sticker, you can be assured I'm going to ask about it.

Yes, I hunt for Jayco's, and give invitations to the forum. Never have met anyone thru the forum but know a few from a non generic forum I frequent.

Campers are good people to befriend. We have many good friends that we have met on forums and in campgrounds.
