It's definitely chronic and common practice, Rock. Heard from Jayco the other day, they haven't heard from CW since last June on my unit. So I wasted 4 trips to CW the past month and a half and nothing was accomplished. Jayco called and left messages but no returned calls yet. So believe me, your not alone.

Got a follow up call from CW that most of the parts arrived except 1 more item. They will call me to set up an appointment when they arrive for the install. That was good business practice in my books.

MY Rant: That is a common problem with Franchises & is detrimental to the name. Its a quality control issue that franchisors need to address or wtf is the use of buying into one or buying from one for that matter.? It really PMO when I run into these independents that backtalk & blow you off. Same with auto industry, or so it was a quite a few years ago. I had trouble getting warranty work at a Buick dealership once with a new car I had bought. A Buick dealership I walked into started the BS about " You need to take it back to the dealership you purchased it from" The dealer I bought it from was 100 miles away & the engine just threw a pushrod & was running on 5 cylinders. I was able to drive it there but unable to go past 30 mph! This was in 1983 right before the Lemon law. Jayco & all the rest of these dealers are starting to give the impression that once you buy your on your own. Unacceptable business. I tell people that are wanting to buy RV's about the problems that exist in this industry, (Quality, customer service, warranty work, etc.) & it is certainly making them think twice about buying. These are big investments & cost more than your avg new cars in many cases, Its crazy. Imagine how long GM or Toyota would last if they ran things like these RV dealers do. Its hard to believe they are still in business now.

Follow up

Just got my TT back from Kissimmee Camping World for warranty work that I couldn't get done by those rat bastards in Winter Park. Once the parts arrived from Jayco I got an appointment the next day to bring TT in. It was completed in 4 days. They did a fantastic job & I will be a loyal customer in the future. Now why can't other dealerships be like that?
