Can't Wait!!!

It's been since last June we went camping. I'm counting the days, hours, minutes, seconds and nano seconds until Spring Break!!! We aren't going very far but I'll be glad to just be going!!!

How about you?!?

I so want to take off the cover, and start getting it ready. Mother Nature has given us a bunch of 50* to 70* days, my mind says "SPRING", but the weather guy has other ideas ahead.

General wisdom in this part of the world is we shouldn't plant our gardens until Mothers day since the risk of freezing temps is significantly low. We will probably start camping again late next month. I don't really want to have to winterize again this season.

Our first trip is Memorial Day weekend, we currently have two more trips booked, hoping to book at least three more trips this summer.

We are ready and willing for this camping season to begin. Though I am torn, because I am into a great snowmachine riding season, we have already made many plans for the summer.
For those of you in the southern climbs who are out enjoying camping right now. Don't talk to me! Don't show pictures of camp fires, and relaxing! You make me sick! We will sit up here in our snowed in frozen winter wonderland and pout and act like 5 year olds because we want our cake and to be able to eat it too. lol
Once we are out camping and fishing and hiking and hunting and enjoying our nice summers here, I will like you all once again.

Lol!!!

Texas has had the warmest February on record. 60.3 degrees Fahrenheit. 80's here in the Dallas area on average the last few weeks.
I can't imagine Alaska right now. Stay warm and plow on!! Spring is around the corner!!

One of the warmest February's on record in WI had me sorting RV stuff and dreaming of an early start . . . March 1st and the snowblower was called into duty. Insert big sigh <here>

We're on the way home to the Houston area from a trip to Tucson. We encountered a few nights around 28 or so. Really nice trip. In San Antonio now and headed home tomorrow. We head to Galveston in 2 weeks for spring break with our g'son, oh yeah, his parents are coming along too
