Carpet flaking

For a while we have been noticing white flakes on the floor when we open the slides in back. Kinda brushed it off as just some foam from the AC but we have found that the backing on the carpet that is not attached ( sticks out from the slide) appears to be flaking off a little each time from walking on it.

I am thinking of spraying something on it to stabilize it but have not heard any one with this complaint.

Has anyone experienced this?

I haven't noticed but I have not had the unit that long but I'll be looking for it.

We have the samething the wife cleans it up each time we put slide out.

So far no problem with ours. I will be checking on it though.
