I bought some covers from Camping World for my three steps and after installing them and admiring how good it looked, I found out that my steps wouldn't fit back in the stowed position, so we had to take off two of the three covers.

We just got a piece of remnant at a carpet shop and made a set. A large pair of sheers and a few zip ties and a few minutes of your time and they are done.

I think Camco makes carpet covers for both straight and radius steps. Like Derek700, we bought 4 straights at Walmart, but the bottom one has to be removed to fold the steps.

Costco, Home Depot and likely Lowes all sell 6'x9' "outdoor carpets" for around $20. I bought one to cut up and put in the floor of the pass-through on our TT, and used the remainder to cover some of the steps. I made a paper pattern and cut the carpet to fit, then used double-sided tape to stick it to the step. (Clean the step with alcohol or other solvent first.) No problems with steps folding up; and DW really likes the carpeted steps. (We left the bottom step alone, thinking it would be good for kicking mud off when necessary.)
