If by your smart tote you are referring to your pooh wagon, we have a 35 gal tote that is bungied to the front of our pick up bed. Toyota has a tie down system. The tote is on its side up against the front wall of the bed. We have a cap on the bed.

I have seen a nice rack made under a trailer to house one of the 35 gallon totes. Tote just slid in the rack and was very secure. Wish I had a picture of it. We have a tote, but don't carry it anymore. With Jayco's high ground clearance, I think an undermount would be what I'd do, provided it's done right and secures the tank well. I've never heard one called a honey wagon and we've been doing this a long time. Guess I learned something. I just call it a tote tank or whatever comes to mind at the moment.

We call the mobile pump out service at the campground a Honey Wagon.
Since I was a kid I've heard the truck that pumps out the septic systems in my area called the Honey Wagon also.

I like the trailer under mount idea for the tote tank.

All I remember is it was constructed of somewhat light weight angle iron, and the wheels rode on little tracks up under the rig. Once there, a piece closed and was pinned or locked. Man I need to take more pictures.

Please check this thread for ideas on transporting totes: http://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f1...tml#post276095; there are many postings and threads on the tote topic.
No tote is going in the TT or lidded truck bed so we purchased a 'hook' (meant to hold chairs) for our ladder and the empty tote fits perfectly once it is bungeed-in.

I have a 15 gallon I just keep in the bed of my truck. Didn't need it last trip but it's good to have all the same.

Mine goes in the back of the truck too, have it w me right now at camp. I'd also recommend against getting a 2 wheel one, your back will thank you. We have a baker.
If u don't have a pickup, I've seen somewhere where people have come up w a mount for the back of the travel trailer. Near where'd u would put a ladder. Could be an option.

My 27 gallon goes in the bed of my truck behind the 5th wheel hitch and the tailgate. It is the last thing that is loaded before travel. I do strap it down so wind doesn't move it around.

Mine sits in a lawn chair carrier hanging on my ladder with a couple of bungy cords around the ladder.

Toss it in the bed of my truck. I only use it for grey water so I don't mind lifting it up and having it in my truck. If I used it for black water I'd find another way.

You should be rinsing these things out really well after each use and getting ALL the liquids out of them. I use mine from time to time and always carry it in the camper or the back of the truck
