Cave Storage - others' experience???

We are considering long-term storage for our Jay Feather. I recall quite awhile ago a discussion on this forum around caves that exist in the outskirts of Pittsburg, PA. I found websites for 2 cave storage locations in the Pittsburg region and the prices are fair for what you receive.

I am interested in hearing from anyone who has stored their RV in a cave, the pros and cons of doing this. The one storage place I called said that the RH is around 50% - 60% year-round, which is a little higher than I prefer, but it would be exposed to much higher at times if left in my current location (outside).

Anyone's thoughts?

... have no experience with cave storage, but would be interested to know if rodents / insects are a factor.

Looks like a good place. Here's a good article on it.
