Color Coordinated??

My wife Sandy and I have been dicussing the purchase of a new Tow Vehicle. My current truck is a 2006 Ford F150 and it is White and Gold in color. We purchased it because of price and I wanted a White truck to match the TT.
I told her we will buy another white truck to match the current TT and the future TT.

My questions to you fine folks are:

Would you prefer to have a Tow vehicle match your Trailer?

Does your currect set up match because you wanted to match or was is it by accident?

Does it matter to you if they match or not?

Happy Wife, Happy Life. Cost would be my driving force. I don't care if they match or not.

I didn't buy my TV to match but after purchasing it, the DW informed me that they do indeed match!

Our tow vehicle is also white, and therefore matches the trailer.
It was a lucky break. We buy all our family's vehicles at US Forest Service auctions and of course most of their vehiicles are that sickly green Forest Service color. We wanted a 2 wheel drive 3/4 ton pickup. There were lots of 4WD green ones, and one 2WD white one. It had everything we wanted. King cab. 350 cubic inch engine, Tow package, Camper package (heavy duty springs) and it only had 70,000 miles on it...And it was white! We got it for a real cheap price too. I feel so much better not driving around in a vehicle that, because of its sickly green color, is instantly recognizable as an old Forest Service Rig!

Don't care if they match. Both the TT and TV are equally beautiful! Our TV is bright red!

We bought our F350 based on four criteria (F350, crew cab, V-10 gas engine, 4X4), and wanted used so as not to lose so much value in the first year of ownership. The first one that met criteria was white/gold, which mostly happens to match the 5er we bought 7 years later. Neither one of us cares about matching, but it just happened that way. Incidentally, we bought a Ford because we were screwed on a warranty claim to GM on our previous TV's engine. They denied the claim because we had to change out a new but defective engine 2,000 miles away from home, and failed to get the selling GM dealer's written permission to change the engine. GM never denied that the engine was defective - just that we did not obtain the dealer's written permission. No more GMs for us !

I ordered my truck in red because I liked the way it looked, it just so happens that it matches the striping in my Jayco.

Our units match by ACCIDENT- We needed a newer TV and we bought a unit that met our mechanical requirements [ It was the only vehicle in metro Des Moines that did ] JHMO- DD

It's not that important to me. However, my Astro is a metallic beige, that resembles the beige/gold in the decals on our TT, and I kid of like it!

I wouldn't have had to have them coordinate if I'd found a trailer I wanted more.

When we bought our truck it met the following criteria. Quad cab, Cummins, Automatic with lots of extras. The hard to find part was that we wanted around 20K miles. Color didn't much matter as long as it wasn't black or blue. It does match the trailer graphics somewhat and happens to be the same color as Sallie's car and our Rhino.

My truck is maroon and just happened to match the striping on the 5er we found earlier this year. We were more concerned with our criteria for the camper than matching. First time out some friends pointed out that it matched. Bonus I guess!
