Dirt wont wash off...

In 15 years of RVing this is the first time I have had this problem.. It rained pretty much the whole 2 weeks I was away... and rained every day since I got back till today.. and I have been washing and washing the exterior of my TT and the dirt will not come off... I have an 1800 psi pressure washer, good automotive soap and a brush no luck it wont come off... it will barely come off using my fingernail on it.....
suggestions please....

We run for the magic eraser. Works wonders for us, not too much pressure as in time will scratch.

Magic Erasers are the best at getting bugs off the front of the trailer.

Totally Awesome will do the job. Spray bottle from dollar stores at 1 buck.

Wipe on, wipe off.

Awesome is great. I use it all the time. Be aware it will remove the wax as well. You will need to apply wax more often if you use Awesome.

Awesome is a great product for removing the black streaks and seems to smell and work just like Korkay. ( but much cheaper ) Be careful not to let it run down the side of the trailer and sit for an extended period. It will streak the stick on decals. If you have refinished any part of the fiberglass ( filon ) on your trailer with Red Max Pro 3, the Awesome with remove the shine in a instant.
We streaked the decals on our Sunline and the shine on the nose cap of our current Jayco. It sure is great to still be getting an education as a senior.

Seann, it takes a little elbo grease. Just having the cleaning materials is not enough.

Sounds like it's not really dirt, but rather Pine Tar or something like that. If so, you will need something stronger than the usual soapy detergent. Be careful not to remove the paint finish. Gentle use of Varsol, and nothing stronger may do the trick. Follow that with a soapy wash. If you're worried about using Varsol, you might try TSP.

Seann, let us know what worked for you when you get it clean. Hopefully you will find the magic stuff and save on the elbows.

Try some hull cleaner for fiberglass boats. If that won't clean it you might need to use a cleaner wax or a restorer wax with a random orbital polisher.

If you don't have one, consider buying a Porter Cable or Meguiars random orbital polisher. Walmart carries the Meguirar's ROP. The pads from Lake Country are superior to the Meguiar's pads.

Polishing and waxing with a ROP is much more effective and faster than hand waxing.
