Do it now or wait 'till next year?

I was just wondering what some of your opinions are and what you would do in my situation. My Eagle has D-rated Goodyear Marathons on it entering their 5th year of service. Date code is Dec/2011. These tires have less than 3000 miles on them and show no signs of wear or anything else. They have been covered all their lives. Right now, E-bay has an incredible price on the Maxxis 8008 E rated ST tire. Not sure if I can pass this up but I'm not prone to fix something if it's not broken. If I could find an E-rated 15in LT tire, I'd go that route instead of the Maxxis. Just curious as to what others would do. 4 New ST225 225 75 15 Maxxis M8008 St Radial Trailer 75R R15 Tires 46119 | eBay $432 for a set of Maxxis, wow.

There always will be sales...... Yes they recommend to replace tires after 5 @ 6 years, (here is an large tire shop who recommends 3 years) but ask yourself who's wallet they are talking about. On RV's and Utility trailers I change them every ten years, because they are usually worn by then and some hairline cracks show in the rubber. I only had a few failures over the years. If you looked after your tires then keep on going.

Will say this Discount tires direct run those special's every so often so it you miss it this time you can wait till the next sale.. The only difference would be if there is a price increase on the tires so it may cost a little more next year. You can also "Follow this seller"
