There always will be sales...... Yes they recommend to replace tires after 5 @ 6 years, (here is an large tire shop who recommends 3 years) but ask yourself who's wallet they are talking about. On RV's and Utility trailers I change them every ten years, because they are usually worn by then and some hairline cracks show in the rubber. I only had a few failures over the years. If you looked after your tires then keep on going.
