This is also the only and best one to use, IMHO.

What needs to be level is the fridge. So, put the bubble level on the floor of the freezer. Once you have the rig level, get the bubble level out of the freezer and place it on the floor or the counter or someplace that is as level as the bottom of the freezer. The next time you go camping, put the bubble level on that spot and level your rig.

I have a VERY OLD wooden 2' carpenter level that belonged to my grandfather. No clue how old it is, but he passed away in 1956 so......

Works for me even though it is slightly warped from age. It does plenty good enough for leveling my 5'er.

I carry a magnetic 6" torpedo level and check every once in awhile to make sure the Acculevel on the fronts not moved or a bubble app on the DW's phone.

I have a small.. 2 foot I guess level. Keep it simple. If I think I'm off by much I'll bring it out... usually just on the inside of the door.

I remember sleeping on baseball sized granite rocks in a tent on a 8% grade wondering if the wolves I hear outside are going to tear into the tent to eat my skittles. (early last summer) I guess we're all doing pretty good now if the outstanding question is 'Is my trailer within 1% of dead center and if no, will I, or my fridge know the difference?' All good, just cracks me up a little.

I have a hard time finding anything magnetic that is convenient to attach a magnetic level to.

2 ft level and a home made ramp I made. It's all I need. If interested see my post "easy way to level RV side to side"

I replaced the small stick on bubbles that came wi h the trailer with bigger ones that don't move after adhesion. They have the little numbers on them too. I'm going to put a 2' plastic level in the storage for the future. I had the camper stored at my shop for a few days and was putzing around with my Spectra lazer. (Don't laugh). Initially I wanted to see why my slide was not opening equally on all four points. Then after seeing that it doesn't slide out evenly I wanted to see what the rest of the trailer was doing. I'm not recommending carrying a lazer with you, (that might seem excessive or a little anal) but it really did tell me how out the trailer was when it was t the shop. I'll also look at your post John. A link would be appreciated.

If you go to the Compass on your smart phone or at least on my iPhone and swipe it to the left, there is a level that I have used several times

Congrats!! Can't believe this thread has 51 posts [now 52]. Really folks is the next question going to be "Do you carry an extra flashlite". Since a level is pretty much a typical item in a toolbox, I suspect a large majority have one in their RV. As to the accuracy of the stick on levels, get it in place and then tack in place with a small [caulked] screw. PS we have 8 sets of knives/forks/spoons in our kitchen drawer and we have never served more than 5 people.

No traditional "place to keep dead batteries" is part of my kit.

SWMBO and I have Single LED + Button cell flashlights that are the key fobs for the TT's keys!

If necessary, my smartphone has a flashlight app (turns on the camera's flash in a low-intensity mode).

I'm a flashlight junkie. I probably have 4 in the RV and 2 in the truck on any given day. One of the truck lights is an old school MagLight converted to LED so it runs longer. Nothing like having a light with the heft of a baseball bat riding shotgun with you. I every day carry at least 2, the ones in the RV are all rechargeable via USB and range from 500 to 5000 lumens, which can pretty much melt the paint off a truck. I have a small solar kit to keep them running off grid. + a fenix light on my keychain and all of our cell phones have the flashlight app. Oh, and a couple of battery powered lanterns. So, to answer that latest question, I guess I'd have to say I definitely carry spares. Heck, even my dog has a flashlight, and I didn't even get into the head lamps yet LOL. One of my better lights has a handgun attached to it, so I didn't include that one.

Careful, folks. We start discussing those kind of flashlights and the moderators will shut the thread down!

I carry three of them, various sizes. Probably reflective of my OCD.
