Early B-day present 4 me

I got an early birthday present today, We were at Costco and looking at a Camp Chef Expedition 3x. My wife asked if I wanted it for my birthday, of course I said heck yeah!! It came with a single burner griddle and is a 3 burner model. We plan on getting a 2 burner grill box and a 2 burner griddle later on. We are planning on trying to get out in 2 weeks, Easter weekend is on for sure.

The leaders in our Scout Troop use that same model stove with the 2 burner griddle. Nice stove. -Lee

We have an older model similar to that for our Cub Scouts....great unit...except our griddle is huge...covers the entire grill....

You will now be designated to cook for the entire platoon!

I think I am already, last year my buddy walked down to our camp with bacon, eggs and hasbrowns. Nice guy, but they were still in the packages, he supplied I cooked. Not complaining, I don't mind doing it hence the new stove.

Its a great grill. I have the the tailgating model. 3 burners at 30,000btu! It will hold a dutch oven real easy. Hopefully you have the griddle that has the drip rail with it. Sometimes wind will affect the burners. Easy to pack up and move when breaking camp.
