Electric Stabilizer Remote Control

I must be doing something wrong, but don't know what.

When I try to use the remote to raise or lower the front stabilizer jacks, it won't stay running for more than a few seconds, and then turns off?

Is this normal, or are the batteries dying? (It's brand new, so I haven't had a chance yet to replace them and try).

Thanks,
Ken

Not sure what trailer you have, or type of jacks. Does the power come back on after waiting a minute or two ? If so, maybe there is a self-resetting circuit breaker there, and for some reason the current is overloading the breaker. Just a guess.

The remote that came on our 365 BHS will run the front jacks completely in and out without stopping, however, once you get much pressure on the rear pads it will run a few seconds then stop. I'm pretty sure it's built into the circuity somehow.

Ours would stop and start, I made the antenna wires on the controller longer, problem solved.

Thanks for all the replies. I tried it again, and it seems like the remote control shuts off. I have to hit the power on button again to get another few seconds out of it. So, I will replace the batteries in that to see if that's the problem.

Thanks again to all who replied.

Re: Electric Stabilizer Remote Control

I had the same problem, if I squeezed the remote, it would work better. Loose battery connection. I asked the dealer to replace it.......I have yet too pick up the new pine and try it out.

I have this same problem on my 365 bhs. Please let me know what you find out. I have just been turning the remote back on and trying again until I have the feet of the stabilizers lined up on the pads then I will go to the outside switch and press it until things are good and tight.

Had the same exact problem, replaced the battery and now works fine.
