end of year clearance sales

Has anyone checked out those late winter RV sales and are the prices very good? I know the selection would be very limited but I'm just wondering what y'alls opinions would be about 'em. Thanks.

I think the late fall sales are better... very few buy at the end of camping season..

We bought our brand new 2011 22FB in October 2010 and we got an excellent deal. At the time there were three 22FB's for us to choose from (the three different colour options). At the spring RV show the other two 22FB's were there for sale and the price was higher than what we paid in the fall.

We just bought a Starcraft 1019 pop up which listed for $10,700. We got it for just under $7,000. Didn't even have to negotiate it. They just put the price out there. Pick it up tomorrow morning.:hihi:

I agree that fall is a better time to buy. When winter comes the dealer has paid several more months flooring on each trailer so his potential profit is going out each month. The more they pay out the more they have to get to make a profit.

bought our 2010 28bhs in September of last year for several thousand under sticker from All Season RV in Muskegon, Mich. Outstanding dealer to work with and they have a pretty good website! There was minimum haggle for the price.
