Even RV antifreeze freezes
The pink stuff can't help at this temp.

The stock in the liquor store is safe, but I'd bet that Coke truck has "slushies" in it!

That's way colder than I ever experienced in Michigan.
Here in Palm Bay, Florida, it was low 80s today, supposed to be 85 tomorrow and Sunday.
I'll think of you tomorrow when I have a Margarita under a palm tree....

Lol. I've hitched the horses in colder than -45. Was in the city last week, it was -10 and there were people at the mall in shorts. We get 10 months of winter and two months of lousy snowmobiling.

A few weeks ago, when we'd had several days of single-digit high temperatures, I checked our travel trailer (in storage outdoors) and found the anti-freeze in the toilet had frozen solid -- not slushy, but solid. Hope the water lines are safe...

It is not that the pink stuff wont freeze.. it is that it wont expand when frozen unlike water that expands and that is what causes the damage..

Just curious. Is that with a wind chill? I think -57 was the worst I had North of 60.

Wow... coldest that I've ever been is -6F and that was pretty nasty. We hit the single digits last month in the DC area and the weather people were talking about dangerous cold and brutal temps, blah blah blah. All I could think about was people in the midwest or upnorth laughing at the balmy temps...
To all the people in Florida posting temps... I hate you. In 3 weeks, I'll be down in Tampa though, so I'll be one of those jerks under a palm tree with an adult beverage in hand !

Mine was -40*F with a -60*F windchill in Southern Wisconsin.
Think it was early 80's.
I recall it feeling like you were getting needles jabbed in your face.
