External Cable TV Hookup

I have the external cable hookup on the awning side of the trailer and was wondering does something. Need to be changed over on the inside for that to work can't seem to get a signal through it either OTA or Cable

I'm assuming you have an antenna booster (button with a little led light next to it) where your Television jack is. On our unit it's in a cabinet right next to the television. The coax goes from that jack to the back of the tv, that jack probably has the button on it I mentioned. To use cable, that has to be off.

Welcome to the forum BTW.

What i do is bring along an TV TEE adapter and a second 12-foot RG cable... Then I hook up the tee adapter to the pedestal at the camp ground and run my main RG cable from the pedestal to the CABLE TV jack on the outside of the trailer. the second RG cables gets hooked up to the tee and thrown under the trailer so i can grab it on the other side in the patio area...

This way I can hook up the outside TV to the cable that is under the trailer...

Works great for us and I have never seen degradation of signal strength using the TEE adapter...

My GH does not have a outside connection so I just installed a cable splitter in the drivers side electrical compartment where the CG connect goes, and run another cable under the GH to a TV I use outside. No problems at all.
