Fatal Mistake

Well I screwed up big time tonight! DW was sitting in the camper tonight while I was working on some stuff. I opened the cabinet under the sink and pulled out a 2 foot long snake skin. Haha

DW freaked out and wants to know where the snake is that left it. I told her it was a harmless garden snake and is long gone but she is not too sure.

I bet she does not sleep well next time we go out!!!!

Why did I not just leave it alone!!!!

Ouch!!!

Reminds me of the time I bought fake rubber rat and at night time, I positioned it behind our stick home's coffee pot. Next morning, wife comes down stairs, turns on coffee pot and goes to washroom. Comes back from washroom, puts on her glasses, starts pouring hot coffee into a cup, and her eyes (now with glasses on) sees the RAT in the corner of her eye. OUCH as well. Guess who got a black eye before my morning coffee? Like you, I ain't doing that again. LOL!!!!

We was having mice problems in the house one time so I got the big idea of putting flower on the floors along the walls to see where the mice was coming from...

Got up the next morning and found the mice tracks ok but found a snake track right behind them haha... I guess where-ever the mice are so are the snakes haha...

OMG! I hate snakes. It is 10 degrees outside right now so if there are any snakes hiding in our RV I am sure they are frozen! LOL

Fatal Mistake

I leave my trailer plugged in 24x7 in storage as well as my fridge on. I think the critters like that compartment because the fridge and converter both keep it warm!

I now remove the drawer in storage and that seems to keep them away more but apparently this guy got in before I winterized.

I happen to like snakes! They are mostly harmless. And yes - I have been camping at fun places! Most likely when I was camping with Denise a while ago!!!

Sounds like a menagerie to me. I happen to love snakes myself. The biggest reason why is that they love mice.

Sometimes you just have to know what and what not to share with DW. That is NOT something I would've shared with her. I would've left it in there until an opportune time to remove it without her knowledge. She would NEVER have known it was ever there.

It's hard enough to get her to go camping with me without that kind of ruckus going on! LOL!

As you are still alive to tell this story (she didn't terminate you!) I'd classify this as a near-fatal mistake.
