First outing Whitehawk no DC after unhooking from truck.

We brought our 23mrb out on her first outing. She has been hooked to shore power at home with no problems. Brought her to the beach and as soon as I unhooked her from the truck, it was like there was no battery. The battery shows 13.6 vdc on the terms even with the truck unhooked but once unhooked, nothing in the camper worked. Changed sites to electric shore power and all is working. I checked the 40amp reverse polarity protection fuse and that was good. The cables are tight in the battery. I even pulled the termination cover under tongue and checked the wire nuts. Any thoughts?

Fuze

If it's like my dsbh white hawk , there is a 30 amp fuze right behind the batteries attached to the frame just outside a black junction box.

That was it! Thank you so much!
Now I have to see if it happens again and if so, why.
Thanks again!

I carry a supply of those fuses and several others that occasionally blow.

If you have a electric jack, and you extend it all the way ,or lower it all the way, it will blow the fuze. Keep extras on hand.

That same fuse blows on my 20 MRB when the slide is extended. Dealer claimed it was due to dirty battery terminals. I don't think so.

I have purchased a 30 amp circuit breaker from an online electronics warehouse in Reno. It is the kind, that if it trips, it will reset it self. Once I get it installed, I will post here on the JOF how well it works, or not.
