first trip in our new Jayco Jay Flight Swift 267BHS

We took our first trip in our new Jayco and we love it. We traded our 2000 Dutchmen in December 2012 and spent the winter wishing for spring. We read lots on this site and my husband says it is not really necessary to have every accessory mentioned on this forum, but I am getting there!

We added the pvc quarter round on the tub and it worked. We got a portable surge protector, vent cover, and command hooks to hang a few things. In other words, we learned lots from this forum. Thanks for all the good info.

We knew the sofa/tv setup might be problematic for comfortable viewing, but we found a folding Adirondack chair at Sam's Club that made hubby happy, plus it fits in under-sofa storage while traveling.

We are looking forward to our next trip. We will keep reading and learning.

Someone on here suggested gluing a strip of pvc quarter round on outer edge of tub to make a lip to prevent water from running off into floor. We also put clips to hold shower curtain in place...ordered the clips from Amazon. If you do a search, you can find pics of the original poster's mods...can't remember the name.

I think it is a jack knife...raise it part way as if you are going to fold out and the front panel lifts up from the bottom to access storage space. They showed it to us during the pdi.
