Frameless windows

I like the frameless window idea. My unit goes into production the last week of this month or early April. I ordered the Thermal-pane, tinted, safety-glass windows. Not really sure how they can achieve the frameless capability with double pane windows.

The Thermal-pane windows option really contributes on the overall weight of the trailer (approximately 400lbs extra). If they come frameless, that would somehow alleviate a few pounds.

I guess, we will have to wait and see.

We like the look of the NEW frameless but are very happy with what's been around for years....plus they are sliders which offer much more ventilation rather than crank opens.

True, but crank outs allow for opening when there's a slight rain where sliders don't...

X2 on that one. When I leave for the day I don't have to worry about rain or heat build up. But I sure like the looks of the new windows ( big time). I have a Fantastic Fan so that changes the air real fast.

We have 2 windows under the awning that we can leave open...that's an old excuse for those with crank outs.

I never thought a post about windows would strike up so much controversy :-) I like the look of the new frameless and like that they pivot out from the top. However, I never had a issue with my sliders or the one crank out window in my x213.

CONFIRMED: Thermal (Dual) Pane windows are also Frameless.

I just received confirmation from the factory that the Thermal Pane Windows also come as frameless with the newer units.

At the central Wisconsin RV show we also noticed a couple of new Eagles with them. Talked with our dealer and he said our White Hawk "should" have them too. It's built, sitting in Jayco's lot, waiting to be hauled to Wisconsin. Can't wait!

Gosh I'd love to have our thermal pane windows here so we can test em out. We've had a ready for ship status for three weeks now. Not complaining, just anxious.

Thanks to posts we read here we got the thermal panes and they are frameless. Quite sharp. I'm really happy we ordered them.
