Just go to the Jayco web site and click on manuals. Select the model manual you need. You don't need a VIN # if you don't want a hard copy. Just click on download, and you get a .pdf file. I've done it a number of times while deciding which MH I wanted, no problems. Don't know about legacy units. I was only concerned with current models.

I suspect that the reason they were utterly useless at trying to get anything (lay-out, brochures, service manuals on my (new-to-me) 1990 'Designer Series Jay Crane 35' is because their archives only go back to 2004 - That's pretty lame in my book! They are missing out on a huge market for their 'Pre-Owned' shoppers! Not to mention the fact that it is still in great nick! Even the VIN# didn't help. I'm rather disappointed in them actually. You'd think they'd have sufficient pride in their product to keep info on their older units that on file, especially in this age of efficient, convenient file and record keeping. Hell, I can't even find pictures online anywhere. So, what did I buy? A rare model? A unit qualified for 'Collector Plates"? sheeesh! I DID get a brochure for 1990 tent trailers and bumper pulled travel trailers from them. Not a whole lot of use to me. My e-mails were handled promptly and courteously...just nothing useful in their replies!.

Yeah, but the manuals only go up to 2002 for most TT listed on the cunninghamcampers.com website. I know, however, that you can get the manuals now on the Jayco website for current models. Right?

Yes, the newer models are available on Jayco's website.

Hi Bill & Renee,
I found this on the Jayco website ...
http://www.jayco.com/tools/archive/

This link should take you to where you can select your year. It only goes back to 2003, but I found it useful.

Don't want to discourage anyone, but the owner's manuals are so generic that they are not always very helpful for specific information. For instance, if you need to locate a particular component the manual isn't much help. I wish the manuals were more specific to the particular product. For example, I have a Granite Ridge Motor Home. If I needed to find out where the water pump is located, or the Transfer Switch, or the breaker panel etc the manual tells you absolutely nothing about that. This and other forums are much more helpful in that regard. I don't know about other manufacturers but I suspect they are pretty much the same as Jayco.

Send a message via MSN to spurgers
Just acquired a vintage Jayco Travel Trailer with tandem axles I think it is in the 1976 date range. Where would I find the vin#? Lost title. Last tagged in 1999. License plate no help at local DMV.

Frustrated!!!

I wish they had a book type like you get with a new car or truck?. I don't carry my computer around with me to lookt at a PDF file.. I need a book to look at when traveling and come across a problem and need to look f9r a solution.

I have downloaded the owners manual but I am looking for a maintenance manual and an illustrated parts breakdown. Is there a place I can get those?

I just bought my 2003 Jayco Kiwi hybrid and need a cover for the exterior porch light. Any idea how to find the part number for this?

Post a picture. It's unlikely your going to get a part number that means anything. However, there are supplier catalogs that should be pretty easy to find a match.

One thing about owners manual I found is climate guard ,this does not work around slides, some windows ,skylights, vents, roof joints ,storage compartments are open to stairway return vent leaving cold air blowing into unit when windy. The bottom cover is open in many places leaving air entering thru floor then it goes directly into unit. Try using a temp gun ( harbor freight) or others and play around . You will see where your money is going ,made me unhappy with their claims.

In the MANUALS section of this forum are a good many owners manuals already available for download.

I was able to go to Jayco's website and under Owner/Support download Owners manual for 2017 Fifth wheels. No data input required. For what it's worth, not a whole lot of help, just a general info manual..

For what it is worth, I am finding that the Owners Manuals supplied by Jayco are absolutely worthless!
I had a battery issue and there is nothing in the manual about an in-line fuse (30 amp) between the electric jack and the battery that is the sole controlling fuse for the entire DC system.
My favorite repair facility solved the problem in less than 1 minute by phone.
Now, I find that there is a thermal cut-off in-line fuse for the H2O heater that is not easily accessible nor does the manual say word-one about it. I have not had a problem with it yet, but for $ 5 dollars I think carrying a spare (comes in a 2-pack) makes great sense!
Thank heavens for the Owners Forum.
