French Canadians in Florida?
I saw video on YouTube for a 26BH from a dealer in Florida...the video is in French. Does Florida get a lot of French speaking Canadian TT buyers or is there another demographic they are targeting here?

... makes sense since FL is pretty much straight below Quebec. Just like most snow birders from the Canadian Prairies end up in Arizona--- go straight south from Alberta until most people are speaking Spanish. If the traffic signs turn Spanish you've travelled too far. ;-)

The campgrounds in parts if Florida are full of French Canadians. They stick together usually do not associate with others. My repair mechanic can tell you a lot of stories that I can not post here.

Yes, many French Canadians visit & camp in Florida.
During our trips through French speaking Quebec we found everyone friendly that we talked with. They even went out of their way to find an English speaking person to assist us.
You may have run across a French speaking Canadian that doesn't understand English and they may have seemed rude when in fact they didn't know what you were saying.
Most people we've encountered are nice.
Happy trails,

My only interactions with Canadians in Kansas City have been with the members of the Missouri Mavericks CHL hockey team....some of them speak French, some of them don't. I assume it has to do with the region of Canada they were raised in.

Yes, we French Canadians (mostly from Québec) do migrate to Florida during the winter months... And yes we are very friendly, polite and helpful...but like in every population, there are always some idiots that give a group some bad rep!

We encountered a couple of the idiots you spoke of. This past weekend while camping in the finger lake region of NY we had a bad experience. Our camping buddies pulled up to find a tent and vehicle parked in their spot. It took the park ranger calling their cell phone and leaving a message threatening to tow their vehicle before they came back. Then instead of apologizing and moving to their correct site (on the other end of the park) they sat down for diner. To make it worse my friends wife just had surgery and need to get out of the heat and lie down. The rude Canadians didn't care. My friend showed better restraint than I would have.

Easy to repeat stories of rude Americans but I won't as most I've met are really cool.

They have in some areas of the state where you'll see bilingual road signs.
