I also have a thermometer in it to monitor the temp, that way I know how long it takes to cool down. It takes longer to cool on electric so I always cool it on gas also if it is really hot outside it takes a lot longer to cool.

lol, I think it must really like me because the green and amber lights were flashing steady. But when I got to the campsite, turned it on LP, the lights did not flash, freezer worked but fridge was "cool" not cold.
Still had a good time regardless.
