Gas in South East help please?

Awesome. I just downloaded gas buddy on my wife's phone so she can use it on this trip. I usually worry about access more than price when towing but I was thinking it may help if shortages are an issue.

Quick scan of the Web today has no new stories of fuel shortages or rationing in the Southeast. OTOH, be grateful you're not heading toward the Midwest, especially Illinois, Indiana, and lower Michigan, where gasoline has jumped about 63 cents a gallon since early August. Seems the BP refinery in Whiting, In. , a 400,000 bbl/day facility had to abruptly shut down the largest of three distillation units. At present, BP does not know when the unit will be returned to service.
