Getting nailed, as a general rule...

If I want to say, hang a wall clock in Harvey the RV, our 2010 Greyhawk, what would you say, as a general rule, is the deepest one could put in a nail? I have tried using the old 3M sticky hangers, but they always fall of fin the West Texas heat.

We used 4 command Velcro sticky tabs to hang a picture on our wall and even with the heat it has gone no where yet

Got a clock and a bunch of various things held up with command straps, no issues here. However we keep the camper plugged in all year and set the Temps above/below the normal comfort zones but never hot or cold.

When we want to hang things on the thin walls that the simple small nail at an angle bracket doesn't work then we we use the MOLLY BOLTs...

Molly Bolts - Once they are set you can remove the screw...

When it is my camper it's my home and I decide what to use for fasteners. I use screws because don't want things to come off during travel and crate damage. I am not worried who gets it after me. They can fill the holes or hang there something else. Make your RV your own!

We use screws in the walls and fill the old holes with toothpaste as we have moved the same clock between three RVs over the years.

Command Hooks for us! They make several different sizes & shapes for different purposes. We use the on both the inside & outside our TT.

There is a product out there call RV Cozy a velcro that is super stuff. Every bit as good as industrial velcro.
