Glad This Wasn't Me!

We just got back from a trip and put the TT in storage afterwards. I happened to look at the tongue jack of the TT next to us and I spotted this.

I see this a lot in my storage lot. There are a lot of trailers that look abandoned and haven't moved in years. Why would they continue to pay the monthly fee and never use it? Why not just sell it?

We only started using a storage place a few months ago. It really is amazing to see the types of vehicles that are stored there. It's a basic public storage place and they have spots along the back for campers, boats, trailers, etc...

I'm curious to see if some of the campers do actually get taken out.

You would be surprised at how many people buy them then hardly use them. In a storage lot that i use a couple months a year there is a brand new tt that a young couple bought to take their kids camping, well they used it one time in a year. I drive by there on the way to work and never see most of trailers moved.

It kills me to see trailers sit unused, we all know that trailer we see everyday that just sits in a driveway or has weeds up to the windows that never moves. Knowing the expense of ownership and the joy it brings being out there, It just does not make sense, like somebody said just sell it. We are lucky my wife is a teacher and as soon as school ends she hooks to the trailer and off she goes with the kids. Her first trip is this weekend, I have to work so she goes alone with the kids, just me and the dog this weekend. Yoshi is very hyper and strong, wife worried about controlling her without me. Hopefully after she is spayed next week she will calm a bit and be easier to handle, obedience classes to be scheduled soon.
