Guess it was a denial of service attack. When clicking on my site bookmark all I got was the dreaded "404" error message. Guess someone was real bored.............................

I was visiting the site when it was hacked When I tried to sign on again it was a strange page with a link. Went to the link and there was a very weird guy in a hoodie saying some very strange things

Actually it looks like someone took advantage of a vulnerability in the server and trashed the entire site. You missed the fun little hacker message that was posted here.
I guess some people have nothing better to do than to make things difficult for others. Luckily we were able to get things restored. You may see a few hiccups and if so, let me know.

I did the same thing but closed the window before his page finished loading all loading all his rants, and then ran a virus scan on my computer just in case.

Stupid kids. It's not like hacking a camper site is the same as getting into the FBI mainframe.

I freaked out! I had been offline for a while, and when I came back everything was wonky! I thought I might have missed some major announcement, but I'm really glad all's well again!

Yes,
I seen that at one point. Freaked me out. I immediately did an AVG scan of my whole computer.
After seeing no issues on my end, I figured maybe someone hacked the Forum.
Sad use of computer skills.

I really appreciate all of those that keep this site up and running for our benefit. Somehow I get accustomed to just logging on and reading. Thanks folks you are appreciated.

Thanks for the kind comments.
This forum really feels like family.
I was lost there for about 24 hours lol
Like someone else said, I am used to logging on every day and reading something interesting.
Best regards,
Doug
