Good Customer Service Experience.

Last year I posted a thread about a provincial campgound where the service was lacking after a wasp attack on my 5 year old. ( I can't figure out how to link the thread ).

This past weekend, my son, now 6 and I were camping at Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park when he fell of a piece of playground equipment and was knocked unconscious. I rushed him to the hospital where my wife joined us and brought him home while I went back to the campground to get our dog and trailer. We had been with friends who took our dog while I was at the hospital.

When I came back, I had to get change from the campground staff for the sani dump. When I told them what happened, they refunded my next two nights of camping...even though it was already after 4pm. They were super helpful and understanding.

Even before the accident, the staff had been polite, proffessional and helpful. I was very impressed.

My son is OK now, he just has to take it easy as he has a concusion. Its hard for him, because he wants to climb trees, go to the playground and trampoline. Unfortunately he has to take it easy for the next few weeks.

I will return to this campground. Now I'm going to send a nice email to the management company that runs that park.

Crazy stuff. Glad he is okay. Where was the wasp attack - we are in BC too. One of our favourite campgrounds for customer service is in Anacortes, WA - Pioneer Trails. They are awesome there!
