Graphics

Why do nearly all trailers & rv's have such "butt ugly" drug inspired graphics?

As a graphic designer, I've always wondered the same thing.

Can always order one without them. One recent owner here did that and I've seen several others. Some leave plain, some add wraps etc.

I also majored in Visual Communications/Graphic Design and I'm quite partial to the simplicity of the Jayco logo. It reminds of one of those balancing eagles I would play with as a kid. As corny as it is to admit, seeing that logo makes me smile and it's.. well, it's cute.

As far as a few lines and swooshes go, I don't mind those as long as the entire trailer is not covered.

I have to agree somewhat, i feel like there is a generic look to a lot of them. That being said i quite enjoy the Graphics on my 16XRB, it doesn't look like every other trailer out there (to me at least). Although i have been slowly peeling off the dealer decals as i don't recall them offering me a monthly incentive to advertise for them.

te logo is fine, its the "slashes, swirls & chevrons" that offend my eye!

I told my dealer to take them off unless they want to pay me a monthly fee for advertising! I do the same with our vehicles!

We actually enjoy our Jay Feather's graphics, but we hate the dealer stickers. They do not deserve the free pub, and the dipsticks put them on crooked. I may try to slowly remove them - very annoying, try not to look at them.

I leave the dealer stickers on for as long as they treat me fairly. But they come off as soon as I feel I was wronged. Maybe that's why I've never bought a vehicle or a trailer from the same dealer twice.

But yeah, sometimes they do go overboard with the graphics.

Yeah, those were a couple points in our favor. In fact, we saw a couple class (fill in blank) that we leaned toward at the last RV show that reminded us of our 16XRB.

Graphics the final solution

As BigJohD said... I ordered mine without the "Swooshes" I did leave the Jayco and JayFlight Logos.
