Having withdrawls from camping still in the camping season

We have missed the last 5 weeks and going to miss the next few as well. My DW has been ill and they cannot figure out what's wrong with her. So Northwestern in Chicago here we come. She is getting upset because she can't camp either and misses the great outdoors and the wonderful smells of Wisconsin. Our CG closes it's gates on Oct. 14th. Fingers crossed we can get some time in.:hihi:

I really can identify with Chelle on this one. Have some surgery coming up that will shorten our camping season. I'm already ready for SPRING ! Get well soon, Chelle, we will be praying for your swift recovery.

Thanks for ALL the prayers support. She REALLY wants to be able to do the Halloween campouts. Tinlizzie23 good luck with your pending surgery and a quick and painless recovery to you. Trying to get her to relax is hard since she is in the banking industry running one of the largest branches in the Chicagoland area. I am sure stress has done a little to hinder her recovery.
This is the most beautiful time of year to camp in my book. Trees changing colors the fresh smell inthe air>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.........

Still no camping and no further news on what's wrong with her, We spent all day Friday at Northwestern going here and there. We know the same as we did before we wasted the day in Chicago. NICE!!!!!
Now this weekend is Homecoming and my son is a Senior, so we'll miss this weekend as well. Maybe the next one...

Sorry to hear about your wife and hope the doctors can figure out what's wrong and come up with a solution.

When you do get the chance to go camping with your wife, it'll be that much more sweeter.

Thanks all. Just getting depressed as I am worried about her more than I care we're not camping. In this case no new is NOT good news.... I knew I should have been a doctor instead of a FF/Medic.
