HDMI / Blu Ray player

We just purchased this HDMI to A/V converter in order to play Blu-Ray videos throug the Jensen Entertainment System. Hopefully this will also be able to play through the ceiling speakers. Jensen really needs to update to Blu-Ray players.

Does the TV itself not have HDMI? IF it does I just add a hdmi cable and then run the audio out from the TV back to the Jensen. HDMI gets a much better video quality in general.

On my last RV, I had an issue where the audio from the Jensen wasn't presented to the TV when a DVD was played. So I had to grab an unused set of speaker outputs and covert it to line level so the TV would have sound. Not important until the kids are sleeping and you want to watch tv with out it blasting throughout the whole coach!

X2 - Hook the bluray to the tv via HDMI and if you think necessary, connect the audio output from the tv back to the radio. My White Hawk came with the necessary RCA cable connected to the back side of the radio and routed to the back side of the TV. Personally adding a soundbar to the tv is a better audio set up.
