Help... transfer switch

Hello, i am new to the boards but i have a question.
In my 08 jayco octane 26. I had the transfer switch recall done... now my genny will not start... just clicks and flashes. And now when my truck is running the battery charger registers a charge. I made a dumb mistake... one that i never make... i didn't fire up the genny before we left (got the trailer back less than 24 hrs before departure) and i am in the middle of the desert with a dead genny and have to use my truck as a charger.

Any simple rewire i can do out here to save the family vacation?
