Trade. Dealer has always given us a great deal and I didn't have the hassle of trying to sell it.

That would be considered a private sale vote.

OK when posting a poll the title must be posted first then the poll so there is a lag time, which is however long it takes to type in the poll choices.

We sold our motorhome through RVTrader online. Our popup was sold by word of mouth (friend of a friend).

We tried selling it privately, did our research on the value and advertised locally. We had a few tire-kickers, or or two low-ball offers, and one serious offer who backed out after waffling for a few months. So we ended up trading it in. The dealership didn't insult us too badly with their offer, but we got a good deal on our purchase so we didn't feel like we got ripped off.

Sold our Trailmanor on the Trailmanor owners website, took a whole week. If I sell my current one I will see if this site will do list it.

Had a 1988 Jayco 1208 pop up before our 23B. Sold it on Craigslist to a couple our age for $1000. Trailer was in pretty good shape and I was honest with them about a couple issues it had. I think we both got a fair deal.

Also can't see the poll on Tapatalk, but traded in.

I tried selling it myself but the number of "people" that call that will sell your RV for a small fee to their thousands of waiting buyers makes it more hassle than it's worth. Posting an ad to sell it myself was like asking for the endless calls for people trying to scam me.

Two older (73 & 76) slide in camper totalled by a drunk roofer at 1:45 AM. He was nice enough to leave his license plate on the lawn when he "fled the scene". The police officer that came around was happy to have a plate to track down. Didn't get much from insurance, but I stripped the campers down and sold the appliances and aluminum skin. Made out alright. Then purchased the Northern Lite.
Happy Camping

My last 2 were traded in. The 2 before that were private sales.

Traded it in. While we might have gotten less for it, here in MN and a lot of other states they factor in a trade before they calculate sales tax. So it reduces the sales tax and there is no hassle.

We put our "vintage" '77 Layton (with broken fridge and black tank) up for sale on the local Facebook for sale page and I got a several messages within the first hour or two. Had two buyers back out before the end of the evening. By 9 pm it was gone and was going to help a young couple with kids move cross country without needing to pay for hotels. Didn't even care about the broken stuff, was just happy to have something with beds for everyone. After being manufactured in California and never leaving the state in 38 years, it is now in Iowa. Didn't get nearly my asking price, but I knew I wouldn't and would have been happy to get half.
